“Sometimes the biggest gain in productive energy will come from cleaning the cobwebs, dealing with old business, and clearing the desks – cutting loose debris that’s impeding forward motion.” — David Allen

However, be that as it may, the AA program addresses the human condition. When we carry baggage as human beings we pay dearly for it. For those of us with the “Creature” we increase the chances of drinking. Recognition of our strengths and weaknesses on a daily basis, Step 10, helps us to continue to live baggage free. Last week I met a man in a business setting and we were discussing alcoholism. Long story short he has a family friend that is in AA for three years and is doing amazingly well. He said to me, “Dan I read the Book, ‘Alcoholics Anonymous’, you know it is a great book for anyone not just alcoholics!”
Everyday I am grateful to God for inspiring Bill Wilson and the many people he founded AA with, life keeps getting better and better and better! Life is good!
Go, Go, Go…
Dan 🙂
