Yesterday I was speaking with a fellow that is clean and sober now for two years. He has a similar story he went to prison young and started his education in 
prison. He like me, had no idea that college was an option in life. He shared with me that he received a call from his mom and she said to him she received a letter from the school that he was on the “Deans List”. He immediately responded out of guilt, “mom I am telling you I have never met the Dean nor have I done anything wrong, I am working hard in school”!
It is amazing to me how we think. But one day at a time we begin to change we begin to see life differently. We grow and we live life differently, abundantly. We have the hope for a productive and happy future and life gets better and better and better everyday in every way. Don’t quit before the miracle happens!
