Inch by inch it’s a cinch, yard by yard it’s hard… Many times in recovery we want it all and we want it all right now! But the truth is that we grow over time. We strengthen our resolve day by day. As we grow so does our commitment to recover. We strengthen our commitment to live abstinent lives. If we are confronted with a choice to “use” or “drink” we recognize how powerless “it” is over us! We have the strength to stay the course, to live happy, joyous and free! We recognize that God is doing for us what we cannot do ourselves. Life is gooooood!
