Doors open and close in our lives. When they do we must take decisive action. Waiting for the perfect answer leaves room for missed opportunity. In the early recovery process a stint at rehab is an opportunity to learn, reflect, heal, grow and step through the door of the recovered life. It starts by climbing the steps one at a time!
As we grow in our lives there are many decisions we must make in all areas of our recovered lives. The great aspect and quite frankly advantage we have over other people is the fact that we have mutual support. We have sponsors, mentors, people in our support group and outside of our support group that are willing to offer guidance based upon our experience strength and hope. This is a benefit beyond description.
We are not alone and never need to be. Life is good!
