In the Hall of Fame audio “The Strangest Secret”, Earl Nightingale states the number one problem in society today is that people fail to think! They simply don’t think. There is a propensity to simply ride with the tide and let life happen. In recovery we must change the way we think. We must take the risk to think outside the box. We must bloom into the people we are meant to be.
Addiction rips us apart at the core. Playing it safe is no longer a viable option. We must seize the day, seize the opportunity to grow. We do this by changing how we think. We cannot allow time to pass and one day wake up and our lives have passed us by. We are free from addiction to do something special in life. Recovery is not just abstinence, abstinence is the beginning of recovery. Be a thinker, grow and fulfill your potential, because Life is Goooood!!!
