I have said this for a very long time, people in active recovery have a step up over everyone else. Living the principles of recovery not only gives us a daily reprieve from addiction but it offers us a way of life that others never learn. The tenth step is a daily resolution, we look at where we are and what we have accomplished or failed to accomplish. We look at what we have messed up and we make immediate amends for these actions. Most people never learn these principles let alone put them into action!
We are blessed beyond belief. Today I am grateful for life, recovery and those that had the courage to share it with me! Life is good!
