Changing how we think is imperative if we want real joy in our lives. The recovered life is exactly that, a life recovered from ruin. Once we make the decision to recover the journey begins. The most common recovery program utilizes the twelve step approach. As we progress through the steps we begin to change. We start to think differently, we see life differently, we see ourselves differently and we see others differently. But we must be cautious that we do not rush things. Before we can learn to fly we must learn to walk first.
