“You have to trust in something: your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever. This approach has never let me down, and it has made all the difference in my life.” Steve Jobs
Today I trust in God, my Higher Power. However, in the beginning of recovery I first had to trust in the people around me. I needed to know that they actually were doing well, they were growing emotionally, they were recovered. I needed to trust in that so my faith in my higher power could grow as well. In order to recover we must first make a commitment to action. We then must take action!
Trust in our direction is essential. If we are constantly telling ourselves that it just won’t work, well we are right it will not work. We must believe we can do it. In order to believe we can do it we must see that it is possible.
