“The fact that I can plant a seed and it becomes a flower, share a bit of knowledge and it becomes another’s, smile at someone and receive a smile in return, are to me continual spiritual exercises.”
– Leo Buscaglia
Over time I have learned to redefine the term spirituality. My first impression was that it was literally and solely about religion and more specifically about God. Then as I recovered I began to realize it was more and more about how I was feeling. I remember one day sharing at a meeting that was focused on our spiritual condition and I defined spirituality for me. I remember saying that I did not completely understand it but that my spiritual condition had everything to do with the fact that I had not gone to bed praying that I do not wake up in the morning!
Today, contributing anything to others is a spiritual exercise and a direct result of my spiritual condition which is a result of my spiritual exercises. Sometimes things in life do not go the way I would like them to go. But I take action no matter how I am feeling, because Life is Gooood!!!!
Go, Go, Go…
