“Let us endeavor so to live that when we come to die even the undertaker will be sorry.” Mark Twain
A set back is just a set up for a come back! When we were young we had dreams of magnificence. If you hear of a young person losing their life to a tragic disease or accident of some sort, sadness will often come over you. If that child is part of your family you are devastated.
Many of us do not think of the ramifications of addiction in our lives. If we are active in our addiction and die, the story is sad. The funeral home is a sad place filled with stories of potential not met. But addiction is not the end for many of us. Recovery offers us a second chance at life. It is a set up for a come back.
We must live every day to the fullest, being the best that we can be. Developing into the human being that we were meant to be. Let the talk be at your funeral that of sadness but that of success. Do not leave us without your contribution being felt!
Go, Go, Go…
