“Fear not that thy life shall come to an end, but rather fear that it shall never have a beginning.” – John Henry Cardinal
Addiction is a thief, it steals the life right out of us. Yesterday I was speaking with a young man that said he would rather go to jail for a year then go to rehab for 90 days! Today I can honestly say “Thank You” for recovery. I can not express the gratitude I have for life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Life is good today. We all face challenges in life, we all have our hurdles and obstacles to climb. In fact we all have fear of some sort throughout our lives. It is what we do with that fear that counts.
Living on purpose, setting goals and dreaming about where you want to go, who you want to be, what you want to do is fun. Let your hair down and act like the kid in the mirror belting out your favorite song, air guitar in hand! Sure if you do not play an instrument and you are middle aged you are probably not gonna be a rock star, but have some fun. Maybe you can be the Karaoke King!
On the serious side of your life, become a dreamer again. Take some time to write down your goals. Set course to do something special in your life, we only have one go around at it! Make it special, be who you are and win!
Go, Go, Go…
